I think you're right though, that it's important to remember that we write for the joy of writing. <BR/><BR/>I'm near the same point you are, though with considerably fewer drafts. I'm working on bringing my finished ms up to third draft specs, while a few copies of draft two are floating around friends. I liked the point you made in your first post: the definition of a true friend is that they are willing to read your rough novel and offer truthful feedback. I like that.<BR/><BR/>Anyway, what genre do you write in?
