The Best Thing You Can Do

20 comments:

  1. Well now I have a craving, for Cadburys though, which is quite clearly best!

Seriously though great point, brilliantly made.

  2. A chocolate prescription now that's something I can handle. And your correct, it makes me a much better writer ;)

  3. Time to go downstairs and eat Cookie Crisp cereal, then maybe buy more chocolate later today. :)

  4. Mmmmmmm.

That pics of the typewriter and shredded paper in contrast to all that chocolate: wicked.

    Profiteroles, here I come.

Looks like fun, creating the slide show. Did it take a long time?

  5. A Tall House cookie is not better than nookie.

Other than that, I agree. Smell the roses, take a walk on the boardwalk, watch the meteor shower tonight, do something physical to recharge yourself, or eat chocolate, then write.

  6. I've never heard that song before! Oh, those chocolate images relaxed me. Yum...

  7. I love this!! I'm eating a chocolate chip muffin as we speak. YUM!

And here's a fun CHOCOLATE game...

Don't tell me your age; you'd probably lie anyway - but the Hershey Man will know!

    This is pretty neat.

It takes less than a minute. Work this out as you read. Be sure you don't read the bottom until you've worked it out! This is not one of those waste of time things; it's fun.

    1. Pick the number of times a week that you would like to have chocolate (more than once, but less than 10)

    2. Multiply this number by 2 (just to be bold)

    3. Add 5

    4. Multiply it by 50 -- I'll wait while you get the calculator

    5. If you have already had your birthday this year add 1759 ... If you haven't, add 1758.

6.. Now subtract the four digit year that you were born.

    AND THE ANSWER IS ---------------

You should have a three digit number

The first digit of this was your original number (i.e., how many times you want to have chocolate each week).

    The next two numbers are...

YOUR AGE! (Oh YES, it is!!!)

THIS IS THE ONLY YEAR (2009) IT WILL EVER WORK, SO SPREAD IT AROUND WHILE IT LASTS.

  9. Alexa: Cadbury's has some great chocolate!

    T. Anne: I usually have chocolate on hand for the tough spots when I just need to step away for a minute.

Annie: MMMM! I haven't had cookie crisp in years...

Yat-Yee: Wicked, hehehe! Love that you think that. It's a wicked combination, hehe. It did take me a long time, about 3 hours.

Charlie: Oh, a meteor shower. Cool!

Jill: I hadn't heard the song either. I had to buy it when I found it!

Shorty: Hehe! I've done that little game before. It's kind of freaky!

Davin: I hope you get yourself another chocolate milkshake soon...

  11. Both the images and music were very sweet indeed!

  12. Quixotic: Hungry for chocolate or a meal? Hehe.

Laura: Thank you for watching! I'm afraid it was a tad long, but the song was so cute I didn't want to cut it off.

    Becca: Hehe. Yep!

  13. Chocolate is just what the doctor ordered.

Shortly, it works, how ingenius! :)

  14. Crimey: Isn't it great! I find it funny that only one male has commented on here. Do men not like chocolate as much? Answer that one, Davin!

  15. Michelle: Chocolate is fine, but it's not the luxurious joy to me that it seems to be for so many other people. Maybe you're right about gender; I wonder if there's something biological that makes the sexes' responses to chocolate different.

  16. I don't like chocolate and chocolate doesn't like me (bothers my stomach, causes breast lumps [in other women too]), but I think my (male) partner is addicted to chocolate. I keep trying to get him to kick the habit, but, being addicted, he can't kick it! He says if he goes several days without eating any, he craves it like crazy. At one point he was eating it several times a day. Bad!

Some foods seem highly addictive; chocolate is one of those foods, in my opinion at least.

  17. Scott: It's certainly interesting that women seem to be drawn to chocolate more than men. Wait, that came out wrong. *stiffles laughter*...

F.P.: I'm sorry to hear that you can't stomach chocolate. Such a shame! Hopefully there's something else sweet that can take its place for when you need it!

  18. I know you love One True Media and introduced me to it. How could you find just the right song?

    ReplyDelete
  19. Sonia: I went and searched iTunes for songs titled "Chocolate" and I found that one! I bought it right away because it was so cute and fit my video perfectly. You can add your own music into One True Media, if you didn't know. Hope that helps!
