Countdown

Happy New Year's Eve, everyone! For me, this time is always a chance to spiritually reset myself, to make some plans, both for the immediate future and the distant future. Whether or not those long-term plans work out isn't a huge concern for me. It's just fun for me to think about them. And, if I somehow feel like I've gone off track, this is a great time for me to forgive myself and start fresh.

So, I hope everyone is looking forward to the new year! Dare to dream big and go after those dreams!

  3. Glad you're resetting, Davin! I am, too, or at least trying to. One of my resolutions - and I'm making them lightly - is to be less organized. Yes, LESS organized. I think I need to loosen up a bit and get a little more mellow. :)

  4. I'm cleaning house, setting realistic writing goals and also trying reset. At midnight, I always take a broom and sweep the old year out the door and ask the new year in. It's a ritual that sets the tone for reset.
Wishing all of you at Literary Lab a very Happy New Year.

  10. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Years ago I resolved not to make any more New Year's resolutions, and as a result I'm much happier with myself as a person. Hah! Just kidding. Sort of... ;)

  11. Happy New Year to all. It's most definitely a time for reflection and resetting for me. And Michelle: I get what you mean by being less organized.
