The final days to enter

I hope everyone is enjoying the final days of the year. Don't forget there's still time to enter our Variations on a Theme contest. I've been spending the last few days working on my editor's contribution to the anthology, and I'm pretty happy with how things are progressing so far. I hope you are too! I'm looking forward to being impressed by everyone's entries!

  1. I've finished my contribution; it's one of the best things I've ever written. Next week I'll start reading all the official entries. I hope we get a bunch more at the last minute!

    This means you, Mighty Writers!

  4. I'll be last minute, cause that's the way I roll. Love deadlines. Love being up against the wall.

  5. I won't be anywhere near completion, so I'll leave the winner's slot open for one of you. :) I'm nice like that.

Happy New Year Michelle, Scott, Davin and Peanut.

  6. I thought I could but I couldn't- haven't even started..so unless I can start and finish in the next couple days, my entry seems unlikely..:(.Looking forward to reading your contributions though!

And Happy New Year to all of you!

  8. I was looking forward to writing an entry for this, but I haven't even started yet. So unless I suddenly make something of the muddle of ideas in my head, my entry will not be among the rest.

All the best to the other entrants though.

  9. LOL Scott; I thought mine was the best I'd written also; then I gave it to my crit group for feedback. Sheesh . .

The final product is off on its adventure though. What a relief.

Can't wait to see all the final picks.

Have a great new year Literary Lab :)

  10. I e-mailed my entry several days ago. I thought it was pretty good and my critique group (much to my surprise) agreed. Hope you get a landslide of entries. Good luck to all entrants. Waiting patiently for your feedback. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

  11. I really like the sound of "unimaginably magnificent" and "one of the best things I've ever written". "Pretty good" is pretty good too. My story is...different and strangely captivating!
