Honestly, I'm more excited about this anthology than any we've done before. I'm not sure why, but I think it's because all the stories are so tied together. It's a really tight and fascinating read! Also included as part of the 20 stories is my short story written from the prompt, as well as Scott's and Davin's. These will be included at the end of the anthology.
The anthology will be available in paperback, Kindle, and PDF. We hope you will check it out!
ooh - love it!!! Very cool. That seems to fit my story perfectly. Does it fit everyone else's too? Can't wait to find out.
ReplyDeleteMary, happy you love it! It fits so many of the stories, yes, and captures the feel of the anthology as a whole. :)
DeleteOoooh - it's very pretty. I like it! Can't wait for this to come out - my family are all clamoring for me to send them details =)
ReplyDeleteMarch will get here soon! Glad you like it!
DeleteCool, who did the artwork?
ReplyDeleteRick, as strapped for time and energy as we are with the rest of the anthology, we purchased the artwork. I did the layout and design. :)
DeleteYou did well...
DeleteI took one look at the cover and knew you'd done it Michelle.
DeleteI love the cover. I think it works for all the stories. Also, the squirrels are cute.
ReplyDeleteMichelle is just getting better and better at cover designs! I think this will be a beautiful collection.
ReplyDeleteIt will. Reading the stories over again this week, I am so very impressed with everything about this collection.
DeleteAlso: to those remaining authors who've not heard from me yet about edits, you will tonight! Yes, you will! I was going to finish up last night after my run, but a block from home a car's headlights blinded me for a second and I tripped on an uneven pavement and fell down and my left arm, she did not want to work a keyboard. I'm better now, but that's my excuse for last night. My left knee has an impressive bruise, too. Health is dangerous.
Take care of your left limbs, sir. Hope you're deblinded by now.
DeleteFeel better soon, Scott.
DeleteScott, sorry you got hurt. With your fall and my dog bite, I think the fates are trying to get us to write our next books with one hand.
DeleteI'm fine now. Last night I was a bit sore. Whenever I have a fall, it's almost always within a block of the house, at the end of the run. I likely stop paying attention to the crappy sidewalks in my neighborhood when the house is in sight. So my own fault, really. I've had some spectacular tumbles in my own driveway, but last night was pretty minor, all things considered. I was a much greater danger to myself when I was 16 and riding a bike.
DeleteDavin, I can only write with my right hand already. So it's a good thing I always break my falls with my left. I have my eye on those Fates.
DeleteDavin: did you puppy bite you? Oh Peanut!
DeleteGorgeous cover!
ReplyDeleteI love the cover! And it just happens :-) to fit well with the color scheme within my story. I can just imagine a framed version of this on the dining room wall of my characters' apartment. I so look forward to having the anthology in my hands.
ReplyDeleteI also love the cover, and I'm proud to have my story in this collection.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, you're a hand-writer! I forgot. I guess this is a second reason to do it that way. I'm being forced to title my new book "Qwerty#asd"...which actually isn't that much worse than my usual working titles. I need a title for Cyberlama, dammit!
ReplyDeleteDidn't Scott give you some alternatives a few weeks back?
DeleteHow pleasantly organic.
ReplyDeleteGreat cover! :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome cover! I agree with everyone. Yes...it's organic and totally fits the theme(and my story too...don't I see a fox up there with the squirrels?:).
ReplyDeleteI am so proud to be a part of this.
Classy :)
