Happy Monday, everyone!
I had planned a different post, but this morning it didn't seem very good. Instead, I will just say that I am reading Love in the Time of Cholera, and this morning a lot of people were staring at me on the bus because I was smiling so much. It has been so long since I read One Hundred Years of Solitude, and I am reminded again of how much I admire Gabriel Garcia Marquez's talent.
Oh, and you tell me if this is a sign of low self-esteem. I had my writer's group meeting this weekend, and after I read my scene to the group, two people said something to the effect of "So, you just made this up all on your own?" and I took it as a grand compliment.
Oh and oh, I am spending a lot more time trying to come up with a real title for Cyberlama. Here are some ideas. Let me know, please, if any of them strike your fancy...given that you probably know nothing about the book other than the fact that the Dalai Lama is in it, and all of the main characters are 350 years old.
